1. Undulating Benches, London
This outdoor seating area, named ” Please Be Seated “, consists of three circular benches that are intertwined. This urban furniture, which stands out with its wavy wood surface, was designed by British designer Paul Cocksedge for the London Design Festival. The curves rise and fall along the circle, creating areas for sitting, lying and reclining.
2. Bränden Bus Station, Austria
This interesting bus stop – Designed by architect Sou Fujimoto, consists of thin white steel rods surrounding a spiral staircase. This street furniture design, which resembles a forest of pillars combined with the nature view behind it, is also used as a meeting point for people. The staircase inside allows people to climb to top of the station while waiting for the bus to enjoy panoramic views of Krumbach.
3. Colorful Street Furniture Design, London
French designer Camille Walala recreated the pedestrian-free South Molton Street with colorful and fun street furniture. Urban furniture scattered along the street transform the area into an open-air living room. Built for a year time in London Design Festival, this settlement consists of 10 benches, flower pots and flags. 4. Level Up Street Pavilion, Croatia
In the Rijeka city, Croatia , the multi-storey street pavilion named ‘Level Up ‘ where people can gather and relax was built as an extension of the industrial storage building Export Drvo. An abandoned roof area was transformed into terraces and redesigned to socialize the locals living in the port city. The design consists of wooden platforms placed at different levels on steel scaffolding. People can relax on the terraces against the view or swing in hammocks. With an industrial aesthetic, this urban furniture acts as a public facade with balconies overlooking the Delta.
5. Submerged Pier, Austria
This popular pier- designed by Westpol Landscape Architects, offers visitors the experience of entering the lake without getting wet. As visitors descend from a ramp in a lush landscape, the water around them rises slowly and eventually they reach this interesting pier sunken into the water. This urban seating area surrounded by water offers its users a fantastic experience of looking at the lake view from eye level.
6. Recycled Urban Furniture, The New Raw, Greece
A new laboratory, founded by Rotterdam-based design studio The New Raw, recycles plastic waste to produce 3D street furniture for the city. ‘ Print Your City’, a plastic recycling initiative, offers local residents the opportunity to make urban furniture from plastic waste. Users can choose the color and function of furniture produced with a robotic 3D printing arm on a website. They can even choose in which public space they want to see the furniture in the city.

7. Much More Than An Urban Furniture, Madrid
A young design firm, MINI and ENORME, designed a very original street furniture : The ‘MINI hub ‘ is used as a meeting point for the city as well as a platform where the future of the city is discussed and shaped. Design consisting of open and closed public spaces; It has USB charging points, solar-illuminated reading points, and motion-generated kinetic energy charging points for devices. The aim is to create an environmentally friendly public space where people can meet their daily needs and generate and share ideas for the environment in which they live.
8. Giant Versions of Classic Lamps, ‘Manchester Lamps’, Manchester
Interior design classic five popular lamp model were placed in a major public space in the city center of Manchester . This fun lamp series has double functions as urban seating and street light. 9. Bank + Shelter “Parkbench Bubble”, London
A semi-open outer space furniture designed by Dutch designer Thor Ter Kulve. This ‘ parkbench bubble ‘ bench is exhibited in an art gallery in London. This urban furniture, which can be used as an inflatable shelter, is designed to meet the needs of modern people thanks to its solar powered USB charging station.
